Woman Hit by SUV Dies in Ormond Beach

Police in Ormond Beach said a woman, 71, was killed on Monday, January 30 around 7 p.m. while crossing the street. She was hit by an SUV on South Atlantic Avenue in the area of A1A. The woman died after the accident. Police reported the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk at the time she was struck. The driver is cooperating with Ormond Beach police.
