Temporary road closure announced in Ormond Beach

To enhance the stormwater infrastructure within the City of Ormond Beach, South Beach Street will temporarily close between Ellsworth Avenue and Sylvania Place from Wednesday, January 17, 2024, through Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

The City of Ormond Beach has initiated this closure to facilitate a crucial stormwater system upgrade. During this period, motorists should plan alternate routes using the detour via Ellsworth Avenue, S Ridgewood Avenue, and Sylvania Place. Detour signs will be in place, and drivers should follow the designated routes. Upon work completion, the affected segment of South Beach Street will promptly reopen, and traffic patterns can resume.
