Ormond Beach man arrested for possessing child pornography.

Raymond L. Brown, 61, of Ormond Beach, was taken into custody on Tuesday by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which alerts local law enforcement to reports of exploitation and child pornographic material that is shared online.

According to a release, Detectives from the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at Brown's home off Valencia Avenue in Ormond Beach, where they seized cell phones, laptop computers, a camera, and multiple sexually explicit photos of young girls estimated to range from 4-12 years old. Brown was arrested on a warrant for twenty-three counts of possessing child pornography and is in custody at the Volusia County Branch Jail on $460,000 bail pending a first court appearance.
