The City of Ormond Beach is reaching out to local restaurant businesses to help them get back into business while complying with the Governor’s order. As such, the City is providing the following opportunities to have additional outdoor seating, starting Monday, May 4.
Restaurants in Ormond Beach are asked to do the following:

Provide a sketch of the area to be used (aerial, photograph, or site plan).
-
For parking areas not in main travel aisles: provide temporary fencing/markings of expanded seating area.

Discourage use of main travel lanes in parking lots: if a main travel lane is to be used a permanent barrier would be needed.
-
Minimum handicapped walkways would be required.

Verify no fire department access concerns (access to building/FDC/fire hydrant).
-
A building inspector or planner would review the final set-up on-site.
