It’s increasingly more difficult to recognize the connection between the products we purchase, and where they were made, or even how they were made. This world is fast-paced, and often things that could - should - be treasured are often mass-produced with very little care gone into their production.

In contrast, I build each piece one at a time, with my own hands, giving it the attention as if it is going to be my own. Everything that comes out of my shop is touched only by me, and I prefer to keep it that way. I consider it the best quality control and am able to regard what I make as truly handmade.

My designs often mix between clean lines and the fluid motion found in nature, and I prefer simple minimalism above most else. I am continually coming up with new designs, even though not all go into production. I dream of pushing the boundaries with both design aspects, as well as the structural aspects of wood. I aim for my work to sit seamlessly in your home, yet to command attention in its details.
