Ormond Beach calling for resident input for 32nd Holiday Parade theme.

The City of Ormond Beach Leisure Services division is making plans for the upcoming holiday season and is seeking input from residents on the theme for its 2023 Home for the Holidays Parade theme. Event organizers invite residents to make their voices heard for this year's parade before voting closes on Friday, July 28, 2023, and to be on the lookout for the winning theme announcement on Monday, July 31.
Residents can select their favorite theme from the options below:
- "An Old-Fashioned Christmas"
- "A Christmas in Toyland"
- "A Groovy Christmas"
Residents can cast their votes at http://bit.ly/ParadeThemePoll2023.
Once a theme is selected, the festivities will kick off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, with the City Hall Tree Lighting ceremony, marking the City of Ormond Beach's official start of the holiday season. Families, friends, and neighbors will gather to witness the illumination of the majestic Christmas tree, setting the town aglow with a radiant holiday spirit.
Following the City Hall Tree Lighting ceremony, the grand spectacle of the Home for the Holidays Parade will take center stage, starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. Local businesses, community organizations, marching bands, and creatively adorned floats will wind their way through the streets, captivating spectators with their stunning displays.
