New Development in Ormond Beach requires temporary Lane Closure on A1A.

The City of Ormond Beach Engineering Division has announced that one southbound lane on A1A will be temporarily closed from Bovard Avenue to Bosarvey Drive from April 3, 2023, until April 14. The closure is necessary to allow a contractor to construct a driveway for a new development in the area.

According to a release, southbound traffic will merge into a single lane during the closure, and minimal delays are expected.

Once the construction is complete, the lane will reopen for traffic patterns to resume. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone, obey posted speed limits, and be alert to construction workers and equipment in the area.
