The City of Ormond Beach has announced Melrose Avenue in Ormond Beach will be temporarily closed between N Beach Street and N Ridgewood Avenue on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, to necessitate critical stormwater infrastructure repair work.

Traffic will use detours on Greenwood and Wilmette Avenues during the closure. Residents will retain access to their residences along Melrose Avenue and should expect minimal delays.

Upon completion, crews on Melrose Ave will promptly reopen to traffic, allowing normal flow to resume. For more information, contact the City of Ormond Beach Engineering Division at 386-676-3269.
