Hi-Five Social Media Post of the Week

Today, Friday, March 15, Dr. Carmen Balgobin, Superintendent Volusia County Schools surprised Lindy Feeser, a Port Orange Elementary School academic intervention teacher, with the Great People Great Deeds Instructional Staff Member award! Ms. Feeser received this award for taking action to support a student's family facing financial difficulties. She rallied community support to cover their electricity bill, restock groceries, and provided essential supplies and clothing.

Ms. Feeser’s actions truly changed the circumstances of this student and his family.
