Gun Waiting Period and Background Check Voted Out

The Volusia County Council has unanimously repealed an ordinance in the county that requires a background check and three-day waiting period to buy a gun from a private seller. In Volusia County there is now no waiting period or background check for private gun sales on public property, such as the fairgrounds.
