Meet the Farquhar's! First of all thank you for visiting our website!

The people behind the lens… We are Kirsten and Alastair from Hampshire, England. The name Simply Farquhar’s Photography came from Alastair’s surname, which is now Kirsten's! We wanted something personal, it is just a shame it is a bit of a mouthful – just think of Lord Farquhard from Shrek.

We have been married since August 2018. We live in Andover with our perfect little Dachshund called Jerry.

In 2017 we travelled for 9 months to Thailand, Philippines, Bali, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. This truly was the greatest experience of our lives, and it lead us to where we are now. Everyone always says that travelling will change you as a person, which is very true in our case. We learnt that we wanted to turn our passion for photography into a career. We want to spread our love for it in capturing special moments for you.
