Benzer Pharmacy is an American success story. It began in 2009 when

Alpesh Patel

was a young pharmacist working for a national chain in an underserved inner-city area. It didn’t take long for him to realize that the business model behind America’s large pharmacy chains was broken. The constant drive for shareholder performance over patient needs didn’t benefit customers, nor did it give pharmacists the discretion and independence they deserved to service their communities. Mr. Patel set out to solve the problem, founding a new kind of pharmacy business.

Today, there are 82 corporate- owned and 34 franchise locations situated throughout 29 states, including Florida, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Nevada, Louisiana, New York, Missouri, Mississippi, Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, and Idaho. Projections call for continued rapid growth as the organization seeks to substantially increase its customer base, while ensuring experiences match expectations at every touchpoint.
